We started out writing as a duo of guitar and voice in 2005 with a very acoustic sort of Clair Hazard meets Jars of Clay sort of sound. Add Jordo's drums Stu's bass and a new keys player named Barry White and we began to resemble Evanescence minus the suicidal tendencies. Barry is now on bass and we have a new chick on synth and keys (Cathlyn's baby sister Rach) who can also belt a better harmony than any of the blokes (much to Richard's relief). The result is a very guitar driven, yet keys enhanced, rock experience with funky bass lines and lyrics to wake your soul. When Jordo left we took a break until we found our new drummer, ‘Young Vaughan,’ who brought a new beat to the mix.

'Preaching to the converted' often carries many negative connotations. The sense that we use it in, however, refers to our goal of causing people to strengthen their faith, to think about their 'place' in the world and how they influence it. We believe that by actively seeking God and endeavouring to make Him known through the way we live our lives, we also bring ourselves closer to Him.
