Business by the Book!

John Lockwood began his business career as a junior employee of Blackburn & Lockwood Real Estate at age 25 in 1974.

The company policy at this stage was that you rose through the ranks by your own endeavours, and John gradually rose to become a salesman, manager, director and eventually Managing Director.

John decided to franchise the company in 1986 and started with twelve franchises. The number of offices had grown to twenty one by the end of 1987, and by 1992 numbered 42.

In 1992, John sold his interests in Blackburn & Lockwood, resigned as M.D. etc, in order to set up his own training organisation, “Coaching For Results Ltd”

John for many years has been sharing generalised business principles with business leaders and organisations – principles that really work!

Coincidently, since becoming a Christian in 1997 John found that those same principles were there in the Bible all along.

God has worked miracles in my life over the last eight years when he literally bowled me over.

Planting a new church called Kingdom Builders Church in McKinnon, Victoria.

VISION

Part of our vision is to have a community meeting place where all can gather and to fulfil the commission that Jesus gave to his disciples in Mark 16:15-18 Then he said, "Go into the world, Go everywhere and announce the message of God's good news to one and all. Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, whoever refuses will not be. These are some of the signs that will accompany believers, they will throw out demons in my name, speak in new tongues, pick up snakes and drink poison and not be hurt, they will lay hands on the sick and make them well".
