She has twenty years experience as the executive leader in Human Resources with World Vision Australia, where she specialised in leadership and organizational development.

In addition to her wealth of experience Merilyn has a Graduate Diploma in Career Development and a Diploma in Theology [B.C.V.] Her professional memberships include: Aust. Inst. of Training & Development, Aust. Assoc. of Career Counsellors and the National Speakers Assoc. of Aust.

Being a council member at Kilvington Girls Grammar and on the leadership team at her local Baptist are amongst her voluntary involvements.
