My biggest passion is telling people about Jesus, especially those who don’t yet know him. I also love opening the Bible with Christians and spurring them on to love and good deeds.

I have been in ministry for about 17 years in various forms. That has included three years as a full time itinerate evangelist to teenagers with Aroma (www.aroma.org.au). Currently I am an Associate Minister at Willoughby Anglican (Sydney) looking after the youth ministry. Check it out at www.wact.org.au. I studied at Moore College for 4 years.

Music has also been a big passion of mine and I have worked as a professional musician for about 12 years (www.stevemorrison.com.au). I often use music to open doors for the gospel but music doesn’t have the power for salvation. People need someone to tell them about Jesus!

My faith statement is taken from AFES, because I agree with it!

The divine inspiration and infallibility of Holy Scripture as originally given and its supreme authority in all matters of faith and conduct.
The unity of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit in the Godhead.
The universal sinfulness and guilt of humanity since the fall, rendering men and women subject to God's wrath and condemnation.
The conception of Jesus Christ by the Holy Spirit and his birth by the Virgin Mary.
Redemption from the guilt, penalty and power of sin only though the sacrificial death, as our representative and substitute, of Jesus Christ, the incarnate Son of God.
The bodily resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.
The necessity of the work of the Holy Spirit to make the death of Christ effective in the individual sinner, granting him or her repentance towards God, and faith in Jesus Christ.
The indwelling and work of the Holy Spirit in the believer.
The expectation of the personal return of the Lord Jesus Christ.

I am married to Penny and we have Annika (6) and
Jed (4). I love sport, especially cricket, surfing, fishing, anything to do with water really, and all the football codes.
